Much loved venue, Centennial Parklands Dining has been quietly undergoing a renovation for the past few months, now to be unveiled as the new dining precinct in the heart of the park, Centennial Homestead.
Boasting four new dining concepts, Centennial Homestead was created for anyone searching for an adventure and place where memories are formed.
General Manager of Centennial Homestead, Michael Gebran said, “We are excited to finally launch Centennial Homestead. Our three new food concepts really play on the concept of us opening our home to the park and offering a familiar experience that make people feel comfortable and relaxed. We look forward to showing everyone our new home.”
From catching up with friends, to enjoying a delicious dining experience, Centennial Homestead's Kitchen allows you to bask in the sun and endless green lawns, while sitting down to casual dining with a friendly smile and fresh honest food with a twist on traditional home cooked favourites.
A popular take away spot with homemade grab and go options, Centennial Homestead's Pantry embraces all aspects of the park and elements of play; a local destination for all walks of life. Launching with delicious fresh made salads, sandwiches and its gourmet take away Pantry Picnic Box; park users will love the flexibility, freshness and ease The Pantry offers.
The fresh new event space, Centennial Homestead's Wisteria Room, is surrounded by wild purple flowers, bi-folding doors, white wood finishes and a central bar. Bringing the outdoors in, the Wisteria Room also benefits from luxurious restaurant finishes. The new look event space will be a huge hit with the events and wedding scene.
Head Chef, Rodrigo Do Vale who has been placed at the helm of Centennial Homestead's culinary experience, with past stints including The Grounds of Alexandria and Glass Brasserie brings a contemporary twist to home style cooking which forms the Pantry, Kitchen and events menu.
For breakfast diners can start the day with warm pecan bread; coconut hotcakes; salmon bruschetta and more. Over a long lunch, park users can sample mix grain chicken salad; the kitchen spread including brasserie breads, salami, prosciutto, sweet potato dip, grapes, strawberries, pickles, marinated olives, brie, vintage cheddar; pan roasted salmon and other fresh options.
“With a fresh new name and look, Centennial Homestead encompasses a more relaxed, accessible and family-friendly feel and a new identity to bring this all to life. Wherever you've come from, consider our home yours at Centennial Homestead. 'The Heart of the Park',” Michael Gebran continued.
