ivy, Sydney's leading dining and lifestyle destination, has a variety of events bursting with race day revelry. Guests can party Italian Riviera-style at the stunning ivy Pool Club, with mouth-watering canapés, cocktail on arrival and Chandon NV and Heineken from 12pm until the race or three-hour beverage package ($140). Uccello delivers a sensational four-course Italian feast by new head chef Ben Sitton ($275), while European wine bar Ash St. Cellar serves a handsome dining package of four-courses accompanied by a flute of Veuve Clicquot on arrival ($140). At Palings, guests can settle into ivy's charming open-air courtyard to watch the racing action on the CBD's largest screen, while enjoying a three-course menu from Head Chef Christopher Whitehead ($110). The Den offers an elegant, fun-filled party atmosphere ($100) while ivy's VIP booth packages provide corporate hospitality at its best with personal waiter service and large screens (Chandon NV $150, Veuve Clicquot $200). For a more relaxed setting, punters can join in the festivities in the easy warmth and charm of The Royal George with two-courses and a flute of Chandon NV or Heineken ($60).

Establishment, the epicentre of Sydney's entertainment scene, will be filled with guests enjoying its outstanding portfolio of bars and restaurants. The revered Mr. Wong serves an eloquent ten-dish shared banquet by Executive Chef Dan Hong ($160) while sushi e and hemmesphere come together for a sophisticated dining affair of a six-course lunch with a flute of Ruinart Rosé NV ($160). Merivale's multi-award winning restaurant est. delivers a special three-course menu developed by Executive Head Chef Peter Doyle and Head Chef Jacob Davey, in partnership with James Boag ($225). The menu is inspired by a recent trip to Tasmania where the duo met with talented local producers across the island, from cheese-makers to oyster-farmers. Over the bridge, Manly Wharf's Papi Chulo presents a Cup Day filled with sea breeze, harbour views and a shared banquet of smokehouse meat and succulent seafood ($90). Set on the stunning shores of Pittwater, The Newport hosts its first Melbourne Cup since opening its doors earlier this year. Race day revellers can enjoy the festivities across the properties' sprawling grounds, with a shared three-course feast and a glass of Chandon NV on arrival ($100).

In the tree-lined streets of the east, pop-Asian hangout, Ms. G's creates a flavour-sensation eight-course banquet ($85) and The Fish Shop serves race-day guests a slice of the sea in the city with their fresh a la carte menu or four-course banquet ($70). In the beating heart of Surry Hills, The Beresford offers canapes and Chandon NV in the sun-drenched courtyard ($80) or a sit-down lunch in the refined dining area ($110). There's a world-class dining experience in relaxed surrounds of Oxford Street's The Paddington with a shared banquet menu designed by Executive Chef Ben Greeno ($95), while the vibrant beachside destination Coogee Pavilion serves up a delicious three-course feast ($95).

The Cup Day festivities certainly don't need to end after the race with a host of after-party destinations across the group featuring DJS and live music - Coogee Pavilion, Coogee Rooftop, Establishment, Hemmesphere, ivy Pool Club, Palings, The Beresford, and Hotel CBD.
