Speciality food company Cottage Delight has been producing award-winning handmade fudge in Staffordshire for over 40 years and now the company's best-selling range is even more scrumptious following the addition of a locally produced butter. 

Developed with the help of the Staffordshire Cheese Company, Sea Salted Butter is made with rich double cream sourced from a local family farm.

The cream is churned using traditional methods at Staffordshire Cheese to produce a deliciously rich butter before fine sea salt is then mixed into small batches of the product and moulded into shape with wooden butter pats ready for wrapping and packing.

From there, the butter only has to travel a short distance down the road to Cottage Delight's headquarters in Leek, where Chairman Nigel Cope's closely guarded secret recipe is hand-made and tray cut by the company's expert fudge makers.

Staffordshire Cheese Company's Sea Salted Butter is already being used throughout Cottage Delight's fudge range, which features seven varieties including Original Recipe Fudge, Sea Salted Caramel, Chocolate and Pecan Nut & Maple and is priced £2.30 RRP per 100g bag.
