Australia's leading gourmet providore, Salt Meats Cheese is launching its exciting new concept in the thriving Broadway district. As part of its successful integration into the restaurant and bar scene, the fresh fit-out out is housed in an industrial style space and features modern exposed brick detail and ceilings, with accents of green foliage and a touch of Italian charm in its rustic furnishings. The venue will open its doors on the 7th April with a host of unique offerings to entice Sydney siders.

The new menu, created by award winning, hatted Chef Simona Ciantelli will feature New York style burgers with the influence of Southern Italian street food. Gourmands will fawn over the Truffle Burger with grilled chicken breast, caramelized Spanish onions, truffled mushroom and Gorgonzola sauce served in a milky bun or the Porchetta Burger boasting traditionally seasoned roast pork on a bed of buttered Brussel sprouts, crunchy crackles, pickled carrots and SMC's signature handmade mustard.

The Hot Fritto is another tapas style dish to tantalise the tastebuds, showcasing Tuscan Crumbed olives stuffed with fresh Chilli and Manchego cheese accompanied by Spanish chorizo and potato croquettes complete with spicy jalapeño aioli. Salt Meats Cheese favourites including the Egg Pappardelle with Burnt Orange Lamb Ragú and Black Lobster Pizza will also appear to allure their avid fans.

Nutella addicts will rejoice as the Nutella Menu is here to stay at Broadway! Those with a sweet tooth can indulge in the likes of Nutella Cartocci of deep fried pastry with Nutella and custard cream or a Nutella Heaven Cup topped with Cookies & Cream gelato, Ferrero Rocher, Raffaelo, Kinder Bueno and Nutella Sauce.

Salt Meats Cheese is taking the beverage selection to a whole new level, with the introduction of pre-made premium cocktails in opulent keepsake bottles. Reminiscent of classic Italian fragrances, the refreshing cocktails include Ederflower Spritz and Mezcal Negroni to don the extensive drinks list of imported and local wines, Italian beers and Mexican tequilas.

Thursday to Sunday will see the space turn into an NYC style bar, with local DJs setting the tone - as diners sip on their Aperol Sprtz and welcome the weekend.
