Mira Dining is celebrating this year's National Day with front-row fireworks viewing and fabulous dining at Assaggio Trattoria Italiana, French Window Brasserie and Bar and Cuisine Cuisine ifc. The authentic Italian dinner feast, gourmet French degustation menu and exquisite celebratory Chinese dishes offer the perfect choices for family gathering, romantic dinner or gastronomic indulgence.

A Glittering Feast at Assaggio Trattoria Italiana

The ideal location for watching live displays of the National Day fireworks with spectacular view of the Victoria Harbour and a waterfront alfresco, Assaggio Wan Chai will showcase an authentic 5-course dinner menu crafted by Chef Francesco (HK$888* per person) on 1st October.

Begin the extravagant night with a rich taste of the ocean – a perfectly matched duo of appetizers Cod Fish Pâté & Lobster; followed by a rich and creamy Pumpkin Soup & Fresh Cream Cheese. Savor the signature Homemade Ravioli stuffed with Cream & Baked Italian Ham exalted with parmesan sauce and black truffle. For main course there will be a selection between surf and turf: Pan-seared Red Snapper with Seafood Crumble in White Wine Sauce, or Slow-cooked Roasted Veal Loin served with Mustard Gravy. Wrap up the dinner with Chocolate Mousse with Hazelnut and Espresso Coffee Sauce, and a cup of coffee or tea under the glamorous sky.

Special Celebrating Menu at French Window Brasserie and Bar

With a magnificent view of the Victoria Harbour at the front, French Window provides the best screening of fireworks-filled sky together with the Ferris wheel as backdrop on National Day. Enjoy the magical moment with a special three-course dinner menu (HK$588* per person) that starts with a welcome champagne, a choice of starter from Seafood Platter with oysters, lobster, beetroot cured salmon and shrimps, or a decadent Homemade Foie Gras Torchon, Calvados Caramelized Apples, Toasted Brioche and more. The three options for main course include Poached Sea Bass with Saffron Veloute and Leek Fondue, or Braised Beef Cheek with Thyme and Carrots. The Filo Basket with Mascarpone Cream and Berry Fruits or other sweet treats for dessert will end sparkling night on a sweet note. A special kids menu (HK$188 per child) is also available for the little ones.

Chef's Recommendations for the Month of National Day at Cuisine Cuisine ifc

In celebrating of National Day, Cuisine Cuisine ifc will present six special delicacies that are crafted to pair with the renowned Chinese wine Yue Shan Xian Diao, including the Stir-fried Imperial Bird's Nest and Scrambled Egg White with Superior Soup highlighted by black caviar and crab paste, and the colorful Sautéed Prawns with Assorted Pepper and Roses, Sautéed Diced Wagyu Beef with Sliced Red Porcini and Black Pepper, the fragrant Sautéed Fresh Spotted Garoupa Filets with Black Truffle, Stir-fried Sliced Pigeon with Maitake Mushroom in XO Chili Sauce and Steamed Whole Fresh Abalone with Preserved Shrimp Paste. The Chef's Recommendations are available from the 1st to the 31st of October.
